BY CAR
From Lochgilphead follow A83 to Campbeltown. About 3 miles past the little village of Bellochantuy you will see the signpost for Tangy turning up towards your left. Follow the fairly steep single track tarred road trough the bluebell wood until you reach the T-junction at the red telephone box. Turn right and follow the road for about a mile until you see the sign for Tangy Wind Farm branching to your left (at the wheelie bins). Follow this gravel road up the hill past the cottages at Breakachy and as you start descending you will see Dalnaspidal Guest House in the valley below.

From Campbeltown follow the A83 signposted Glasgow. About 3 miles outside Campbeltown you will come to the little village of Kilkenzie. Just a few hundred yards further you will see a sign saying “Tangy” turning to your right. Follow this single track road until you see the sign for Tangy Wind Farm (at the wheelie bin) turning right to your right. Follow this gravel road up the hill past the cottages at Breakachy and as you start descending you will see Dalnaspidal Guest House in the valley below.

BY CAR AND FERRY
For those of you who want to do less driving (although time-wise the journey is more or less the same), why not break up your journey with a few ferry trips. Why not take the Calmac or Western Ferries from Gourock to Dunoon and then again from Portavadie to Tarbert on the Kintyre Peninsula and then follow the A83 to Campbeltown. Alternatively, you can do some island hopping and come via Arran to Cloanaig and then either cut across the peninsula to the A83 or follow the B842 past Carradale into Campbeltown (please note that this route includes large sections of single track road and is unsuitable if you are in a hurry).
