The Kintyre Express is the first regular sea passenger service between Troon and Campbeltown. Travel the 32 mile sea passage in style, speed and comfort in approximately 1 hour compared to the 165 mile trip by car. The 11:00 am sailing from Campbeltown to Troon has been designed for the tourist market. The sailing will take approximately half an hour longer than the regular run to give passengers a more scenic route along the Arran coast and the opportunity of sighting sea birds and possibly dolphins, harbour porpoises, minke whales and basking sharks (the second largest fish in the world). The Kintyre Express can also be chartered for various excursions.

Mull of Kintyre (MOK) Sea Tours are based at the old pier in Campbeltown and offer two-hour fast and exhilarating boat tours to the Mull of Kintyre, as well as Arran, Ailsa Craig, the Ayrshire coast and Northern Island. Besides having a wealth of historical interest, Kintyre is well known as a premier Scottish bird watching area. Mull of Kintyre Sea Tours are therefore designed to maximise opportunities to see the varied wildlife as well as many of the historic coastal sites found on the spectacular Mull of Kintyre cliffs.

Sanda Island is becoming increasingly popular with visitors from all over the world. Sanda features no less than 5 listed ancient monument sites, such as St Ninians Chapel, St Ninians Cross and the cruciform stone at St Ninians which was awarded Site of Special Scientific Interest (S.S.S.I.) status. The Bird Observatory on the island is now Scotland's 4th official observatory and has its own website. The easiest and most convenient access to the island is provided by the Seren Las Boat which runs out of Campbeltown daily both to the island and on fishing trips.

Why not Cruise on the Waverley and sail back in time aboard the world's last remaining sea-going paddle steamer. The Waverley sails from Campbeltown to Sanda Island and the Mull of Kintyre every Summer as well as from Tarbert up and down the magnificent Loch Fyne, the world's longest sea loch.
